GAP Team Overview:
1. Team meeting: Date TBA - end of March
2. Matches:
a) Dates: April 18th; April 25th and May 2nd - Challenge Match: Saturday, May 8th (1st team only, if eligible)
b) Captains: #1 Team Captain: Steve McIntyre; #2 Team Captain: TBA
c) Competition:
#1 Team squares off against Aronimink, Bellewood and Woodstone
#2 Team againist: Philadelphia CC, Dupont and Chester Valley
d) Tee times at Honeybrook will start at 11:00 a.m.
Player Information:
1. Eligibility
a) Must be a member (full or associate) of Honeybrook in good standing
b) Must be listed on our April 1, 2009 Player Ranking List.
c) Open to eligible male golfers 18 years of age or older
d) Players are selected by player ranking and captain selections
e) Please contact the golf shop if you are interested in playing (610-273-0207)
2. Team Member Responsibility
a) To show up when scheduled
b) To communicate with Captain if not able to play in a match, or go to an away match
c) To represent Honeybrook with proper etiquette and sportsmanship
d) Fees as noted below
3. Costs
a) $25 per match played. This will include meal and snack at the turn for players playing at home.
There is no meal provided after challenge match so there will be no meal fee required for this match.
b) Cart fees or caddy fees. Caddies fees are approximately $50 + tip.

There was a tie for 3rd place between Joe Horvath & Travis Good and Chris Fowler & Lynn Stoltzfus with a 2 day total of 125. A chip- off for 3rd place was won by Joe Horvath and Travis Good.

Honeybrook's GAP Team Update from Co-Captain, Steve McIntyre
GAP Team Match Trivia:
Both of our GAP teams led their respective sections in points!
Our #2 team, headed by Jim Barnett and Randy Wright, lost their only match to St. David's by a slim 4 points 35-31!
- JOHN LIBBY a.k.a. the Liberator was the top point winner for the entire GAP earning a cool 36¼ points!
- Also on the first page of the GAP point leader board ( see here http://gapgolf.org/gtmCaptain.asp?cmd=pl&yr=2009 ) is
CHRIS WEBER who tied for 6th place earning 29¾ points and ED CASTALDI earning 26½ points. Way to go, Honeybrook is again on top!
- Special thanks to all the #2 team players and especially our new players, JOE SELLERS, SCOTT KERSHEY, and CHAN OAKMAN. We hope to have all of you back again next year!
Our #1 team narrowly missed challenging up to the A division only losing to a very good Laurel Creek team! Great Job guys!
- Congrats to JOHN KENNEDY who earned his 100th GAP point this year. John was also the top point earner for the #1 team earning 19½ points.
- He was followed closely by MATT LUTTER with 17½ points (that's a lot of points for a first time GAP team participant) and ROBERT LAFOUNTAIN with 15½ points.
Special thanks to all the #1 team players and especially our new players, Doug Arnold, Mike Domenick, Kevin Frost, Matt Lutter, and Charlie Mann. We hope to have all of you back again next year!
